Inclusive childcare provided in your chalet

If you are travelling to a ski resort with young children, high quality childcare can make the difference between a good holiday and a great one. Inclusive childcare has always been central to Ski Famille holidays; we’re not trying to be “family friendly”, we are dedicated to meeting the needs of families.

We have combined the best elements of ski resort crèches, holiday kids clubs and private nanny services to create a service tailored to the needs of skiing families with young children.

Our ski childcare is:

• Based in the catered ski chalet you stay in
• Included in the price of your holiday
• Available for children aged 3 months to 12 years old
• Provided by professional carers who are CRB and reference checked
• Fun and stimulating
• Flexible and build around the needs of your children

One of the key benefits of a Ski Famille holiday is that childcare takes place in the chalet you stay in. This creates a comfortable home from home environment that quickly puts children at ease.

Our ski childcare service varies depending on the ages of children. For the youngest babies it may mean tailored care in a warm, safe chalet environment. For older children it may be taking part in our very own “Winter Olympics” out on the mountain or going on a “Bear Hunt” in the woods – don’t be too concerned, in 20 years of searching we have yet to find a real one!

All of our carers are recruited in the UK and are a mix of qualified nannies, teachers and nurses supported by experienced assistants. We only offer employment to individuals who demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for helping children get the most from their holiday in the Alps. All are CRB and reference checked and hold a first aid qualification.

For our youngest guests we can supply baby bottles, sterilisers and of course high chairs, cots and bedding. Nappies and wipes can be pre-ordered in the UK. If your child has any specific needs please don’t hesitate to call us to discuss them.
