Ehrwald is an attractive village set beside the towering peaks of the Wetterstein massif and has easy access to three small ski areas – others are accessible and on the local lift pass but need a slightly longer (free) bus ride. There is a good selection of mountain restaurants (although all of our Tirolerhof packages are all-inclusive).

Wetterstein area:
Mainly gentle slopes accessed by a draglift around 200m from the hotel. 21km of runs and a top height of 1,530m. Longest run is 500m vertical. Superb ski school facilities and great for beginners and early intermediates.
Ehrwalder Alm area:
Accessed by an 8 seater gondola a short bus ride away. There is nice big gentle nursery area. Quite short runs but a nice mix of blues and reds when you get away from the beginner areas. 26km of runs in total and excellent snow cannon coverage.
Zugspitzplatt area:
Accessed by a spectacular cable car and offering some fantastic high altitude (snow sure glacier) skiing.
