"Low cost" flights are not always the anticipated bargain; more and more of our guests are now choosing to drive to the Alps. We include Eurotunnel crossings in all chalet and self-catering packages.

There are no airport hassles, you can take as much as you can fit in the car and you dictate the pace of the journey.

The advantages of driving to the Alps and Top Tips before you go

Les Gets and La Clusaz are particularly easy to drive to, as two of the nearest French resorts to the channel. Reberty is only an hour further down the autoroute. Both journeys are straightforward and we will provide comprehensive directions – including SatNav coordinates for your chalet.

Eurotunnel offers a Flexi Plus** service that gives you greater flexibility on timings, avoids boarding queues and gives you access to an exclusive lounge where you can stock up on complimentary drinks, snacks and newspapers. FlexiPlus is £90** per vehicle at all times.

If you are driving do bear in mind that you will also need to budget for fuel, tolls (approx £60 each way), breakdown insurance and snow chains.
