The resort has its own attractive ski area with easy to
navigate wooded pistes and quick links to Avoriaz and
the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. Ski-bus links to the
lifts each side of Morzine are excellent and our chalet
offers a dedicated minibus and driver.
The centre of Morzine has a wide choice of
restaurants, bars and shops catering for all tastes. There is also a weekly market with appealing local
produce. On the slopes there is a fantastic range of mountain restaurants offering everything from a quick
vin chaud to hearty regional cuisine.

Skiing ranges from 1000m to 2350m. Although the resort is low it benefits from excellent snow making
facilities and the grass based pistes tend to hold the snow well into early April. Many lifts have been
upgraded over the last five years and queues are rare.
Ski school options in Morzine include the British Alpine
Ski School (BASS), Ecole du Ski Fancais (ESF) and
E2SA International Ski School. BASS has the
advantage of smaller class sizes and instructors with
English as a first language, however ESF can
represent very good value for money. E2SA employs
some British instructors and all have a good level of
spoken English. Tim Scott is also able to offer
Morzine based instruction on some dates.
