Les Gets & Morzine - part of the Portes du Soleil ski area.
The local Les Gets & Morzine ski areas contain more than enough
skiing for most skiers, but if you want to roam far and wide, you've
picked the right resorts.
Les Gets & Morzine are part of the Portes du Soleil ski area - claimed to be the
largest linked area in the world. There are 12 resorts in France and
Switzerland, all joined by a network of lifts. You can ski to Switzerland
for lunch, and back to France in time for tea!
Grass covered slopes, the proximity to Mont Blanc and a battery of snow
cannon give Les Gets & Morzine a snow record which is the envy of some much larger
resorts. They have the biggest local ski area on the Portes du Soleil network
and lift pass prices are less than many other resorts.
