Safe stimulating fun in and around your chalet with our team of caring chalet nannies and carers. Includes supervised lunch and all activities.

Exclusive for Ski Famille guests, with small class sizes. Suitable for all ski abilities (English speaking). We get children ready for ski lessons, take them to and from the ski meeting point, just outside the front of the hotel. Lessons are typically 2hrs 25 minutes long.

Monty’s Afternoon Club sees the children take off on a Mountain Adventure to discover a whole range of activities from sledging, snow sculpting, swimming or soft play.

As part of our childcare options we offer a supervised lunch in the htoel restaurant. This option is included within the Mini Marmots and Monty’s Afternoon Club packages.

This childcare option is for families who want their children to enjoy an evening wind-down, during our Adult dinner service. Our childcare team will look after your children in the playroom and they can be collected before 10pm.

This childcare option is for families with little ones who will be tucked up and asleep before you head into the restaurant for dinner. Once you have signed in to this service, our childcare team will patrol the corridors and alert you if your child awakens.

High Tea is included for every child who stays in our Chalet Hotel. Supervised High Tea is an additional hour of supervision for your children, so that you can spend an extra hour enjoying your apres-ski.

Our optional Childcare is provided in the comfort of the Cocon des Neiges Chalet Hotel 6 days a week by our Qualified Nannies, Childcare Assistants and Monty the Marmot. Our team creates a welcoming ‘home away from home’ atmosphere the whole family will love.
Our dedicated Nursery for Mini Marmots is on the same level as the main dining-room and guest lounge, and as well as providing a safe play area, has its own sleep-room with cots, a WC and a small kitchenette to enable our nannies to prepare bottles and baby food for your child.
Our spacious Playroom for Monty’s Afternoon Club is situated on the top floor where it doubles as an assembly area for Monty’s Ski Club as it also has an enclosed terrace for safe outdoor play with a door leading directly to the meeting point in front of the hotel.
At Ski Famille, we believe every child should have the chance to enjoy the magic of a family ski holiday. We warmly welcome children with additional needs and want them to experience all the fun, excitement, and care that make a Ski Famille holiday special. To help us provide the best possible support, it’s essential that parents let our reservations team know about any additional needs at the time of booking. This allows us to plan ahead and ensure the right staff and resources are available in the chalet hotel.
We make it as simple as possible for parents travelling with infants or toddlers by providing all of the equipment and facilities below in our chalet hotel:
High chairs, changing mats, baby baths, sterilisers, microwaves and night lights. You name it, we’ve got it.
Many of our childcare team are Level 3 Early Years Childcarers and every member of our childcare team holds a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Enhanced DBS Certificate.
We offer free child places for babies and children under 4 on many weeks this winter. On other weeks we offer a price reduction of up to 70%.
A ski holiday should be about freedom, not frantic mornings or worrying about your children while you’re on the slopes. That’s why our qualified, English-speaking nannies provide care in the heart of the Chalet Hotel, so your little ones are safe, entertained, and happy while you enjoy your ski day. They can play indoors, enjoy age-appropriate activities, and even nap in our dedicated sleep room that adjoins to the nursery. When it’s time to eat, freshly prepared meals are ready for them, just as you’d expect at home. This continuity makes a world of difference, especially for younger children adjusting to the mountain environment.
