Snow news from the Alps
It’s set to be a beautiful week ahead in the mountains. Following the recent snowfall the next few days are set to be cold, clear and sunny across all 4 of our resorts. There is currently 90cm of snow on the upper slopes in Les Gets, with 45cm on the lower. A dusting of fresh snow is forecast to fall in the resort this afternoon (1cm) before a week of cold temperatures with highs of 4 degrees on Tuesday and -1 degrees today.
It’s a similar situation in the resort of La Plagne, with the current snow depths of 160cm on the upper slopes and 80cm on the lower. Again temperatures are predicted to stay low with highs of 3 on Wednesday and lows of -3 on Sunday night.
In Les Menuires, and the satellite resorts of Reberty 2000 and Les Bruyeres there is currently 138cm on the upper slopes and 63cm on the lower. Temperatures are staying cold with lows of -3 and highs of 3 degrees. Similar to the other resorts, there is a week of clear sunny skies ahead.
The pistes in all resorts are currently well groomed, offering some fantastic skiing, and the welcome top up from last weekend has created some fantastic conditions for our guests heading out to resort over the second of the half term weeks.
