The bustling and vibrant resort of Les Gets offers plenty to see and do, and there are some brilliant family friendly activities taking place throughout March. To keep up to date with what is going on, and to ensure you make the most of your stay in this fantastic ski resort read on for all the details of some unmissable events and activities that are sure to keep your whole family entertained.

27th February Departures

Ice Party – 4th March (5pm – 7pm)

Taking place at the ice rink in the centre of Les Gets village, families can compete in a range of challenges to win prizes. Suitable for children 5 and over, this is a great activity that the whole family can get involved in. So grab your skates and enjoy an evening together in the centre of Les Gets. Standard evening skating is also available on Tuesday 1st March.

12th March Departures

The Colour Run – 12th March

SkiColor, Les Gets is a unique and colourful concept that combines skiing and having fun! Based on US event ‘the Colour Run’, fun loving participants can take to the slopes, skiing down a very special run on the Mont-Chéry side of the resort. In a unique setting facing Mont Blanc, participants will then immersed in explosions of colour creating an incredible visual spectacle! Great fun for participants and spectators alike, the event continues into the afternoon with a live DJ, and special events at the many restaurants and bars in Les Gets village.

Rock the Pistes Festival – 13TH – 19TH March (17th March – Les Gets)

Now in its sixth year, this one-of-a-kind event is a music festival like no other. Taking place in Les Gets for one day only, visitors can enjoy a live music performance from French Artist Izia surrounded by the stunning scenery of the mountains. For those that wish to travel further afield, the remainder of the festival will take place in other areas of the Portes Du Soleil ski region throughout the week. Only accessible on skis, this free music festival is a truly unique experience not to be missed.

Rock the Pistes Festival – Concerts off the Pistes (12th – 20th March)

Running alongside the performances in the mountains, Rock the Pistes Festival continues down in Les Gets village throughout the week. On various evenings live performances will be taking place across the village restaurants and bars, meaning you are sure to find something to your taste.
